YEŞİL TOMB

The tomb was built by Celebi Sultan Mehmet. Its architect is Hacı İvaz Pasha. Its embroideries were made by Ali bin İlyas Ali and Mehmed el Mecnun. Apart from the south and north facades of the octagonal tomb, which continues the Seljuk cupola tradition, there are rectangular large windows on the other facades, and pointed arched plaster windows on the upper parts.

There are 9 tombs in the mausoleum. In addition to the tomb of Çelebi Sultan Mehmed, there are tiled tombs belonging to his sons Mustafa, Mahmud, and Yusuf and his daughters Selcuk Hatun, Hafsa Sultan, Ayşe Hatun and Sitti Hatun and his foster mother Daye Hatun.
