Emir Han, which is part of the Orhan Gazi Complex, was built by Orhan Gazi in 1340. The building, which is the. first
example of the Ottoman bazaar architecture, is also known as the first Bedesten (covered bazaar) of the
Ottomans. The two-storey building. consisting of @ total of 74 warehouses and shops, 36 at the bottom ond 38 af
the top. has an inner courtyard. Today. the bazaar contains shops selling religious books and pilgrimage materials.
